Overview

We currently support the syncing of the following types;

  • App Parts
  • Pinboards

Pre-requisites

In order to configure ThoughtSpot syncing within Loome Publish, you will require a Trusted Token to be configured within ThoughtSpot. The process is quite simple and quick to do, you can find details on the ThoughtSpot docs site - Enable trusted authentication and get a token.

Your ThoughtSpot server will also have to be configured for HTTPS, you can find details on the ThoughtSpot docs site - Configure SSL.

Once you have the token, you will require the URL of your ThoughtSpot server, along with the User Principal Name (UPN) of an account with permission to the content you wish to sync.

Source System Configuration

To enable source system syncing, go to the cog in the top right and then select ‘Source Systems’.

Click ‘New Source’ in the top right and then select ‘ThoughtSpot’.

Enter a friendly name for the connection, along with a user who the assets will be registered as.

Enter the URL to your ThoughtSpot server, along with the User Principal Name (UPN) of the account with access to the content to sync, and then finally enter the Trusted Token generated on the ThoughtSpot server.

Click ‘Save’ to continue.

Source Systems sync every few minutes, but you can manually kick off the process by clicking the ‘On Demand Sync’ button next to the ThoughtSpot source system.

Wait for the process to complete and you should see n number of items synced. These items will now be available in your draft area for publishing.
