Entity Types

The entity types page will list all types of entities in the Loome Portal.

You can manage your entity types here. You can filter on each column in the table.

There are entity types that are added by default from your added source systems.

For example, the related entity types will be added for sources of:

  • Loome Assist
  • Loome Integrate
  • Loome Monitor
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Power BI
  • Tableau

There are also default entity types such as:

  • Category: Content, with the Sub-category: Web
    • Link
    • Document

Edit Existing Entity Types

To edit an existing entity type, click on Edit in the ‘Actions’ column at the end of the entity type’s row.

Editable fields are dependent on the entity type:

  • If the entity type was created manually in Loome, you can make changes to your previously selected fields.
  • If the entity type is from a source system, you can only modify the icon and colour, and the URL description.

Please note that you cannot edit source, type, and categories, as well as the API Request, Embedding Library and Embedding Params for an entity type added from inbuilt source systems.
